The quality and performance of this pistol far exceed its price. A marvel of modern CNC production methods, I guess. I had never been a 9mm guy, favoring the .45 ACP in my Colt 1911s. But I’m also a collector and wanted a Browning Hi-Power. I waited too late for a new Browning, and didn’t want to spend the money for a vintage Browning, but this SA-35 is likely better in every way (except collector appeal) than the old Hi-Powers. The trigger pull is excellent. The sights are excellent. The “feel in hand” is perfect — even better than the hallowed 1911, for me anyway. Although I’ve only put about 250 rounds through mine, it has functioned 100% and tosses all its brass into a basketball-sized group about 5 feet behind me. I’ve not done any serious accuracy testing with this one, just shooting IPSC cardboard and plates from 20-25 yards, and if I do my part I can stay in the “A” zone consistently. Note: this pistol shoots to point of aim — a six o’clock hold will put your shots quite low. Being an old bullseye shooter, I had to adapt to that sight picture, but once I did it’s been nothing but good times. EXCELLENT pistol ky-guns.

Looks really nice and feels great in my hand. My son likes it also. Taking it to the range in a bit but I expect it to do well. Only complaint is just one magazine. Guess I’m used to 3 most of the time and 2 minimum.

AFTER TAH STATEMENT WE;LL GET TO THE PROBLEMS: WHEN I OPENED THE SLIDE I FOUND THE RECOIL SPRING LY RUSTED FROM EMD TO END RED/ORANGE RUST A REAK MESS. IWAS ABLE TO CLEAN IT USING KROLL OIL/CLEANER. I COVERED ITM IN HOPPES GU GREASE AND WIPED OFF THE EXCESS. I ALSO RIECEVED BITES FROM THEFRAME UNDER THE HAMMER AREA. I WILL USE A DEMERAL TOOL TO SMOOTH THE EDGES ON BOTH SIDES THE RE-BLUE. THE GUN SHOOTS GREAT DEAD ON!! I WAITED SIX MONTHS TO BUYIT AND IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. EVERY GUN HAS SOME SMALL PROBLES UNLESS IT A SIG SAUER. THANKS FOR THE RAPID DELIVERY
