After searching unsuccessfully for Olin WAP powder for some time, I had a shooting friend introduce me to its reincarnation – Silhouette, from Ramshot. Seems they acquired this from Winchester. As I can’t say enough good about the old WAP powder, and this loads and shoots identical, I can’t recommend it enough! Thought this might help others trying to find the old WAP powder. You can’t beat this powder for 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP plus ky-guns’s prices are just unbeatable.

Great powder for my 1911 .45ACP! However, when used for my .38 ,2″ snubby , encountered “Squib ” problems. Will utilize “Titegroup” or HP-38 for the .38.For me , these powders work best.

My preferred load with this powder is a +P 9mm 68gr EXD-FTM. In my 7.5 AR9 pistol it burns clean and producing over 1950fps! Accuracy with the bullets I am loading is very good with this powder. Very little residue in gun when using upper end powder loads.
