Load WST for .45 Bullseye matches FMJ/Hardball and 200 grain lead SWC. Perfect powder! Recoil pulse is light, doesn’t take a lot of powder so your dollar goes farther, and it burns clean. I about threw away my Bullseye powder lol.

WST was recommended by a friend who works for Dillon. Title says it all. Use it for 38 Super and 40 minor revolver loads. Best powder ever for that. Much less sensitive than Titegroup and Clays.

I have only been reloading since 2016, and only 45acp. I am still experimenting with different powder and bullet combinations for 50 foot indoor to 25 and 50 yard outdoor competitions. I used up my first pound of WST last summer and have not shot as good of scores since. I ordered a 4 pound jug of wst since I like it for 50 yard 45 acp Bullseye – so far. I have also been through a pound of Titegroup and AA#2 and am starting to test Vitavouri n310 and n320

I use this powder because its a little slower burning. It took me a while to work up a good Bullseye load, but now I have one that works well at both 25 and 50 yards. I buy the 8# jug so its easier to keep loads consistant.

A friend turned me onto this powder for my 40 and 45. It is an outstanding powder for both cartridges. This powder is clean burning, consistent with low SD’s. Accuracy for both cartridges is outstanding out of my handguns. I shoot 180 grain bullets for my 40 and 200 grain bullets out of my 45. I use this powder for my competition loads. The only downside I have found with this powder is the lack of temperature stability. This powder tends to lose velocity when it gets hot out (above 90). However, the loss is not great and is easy to overcome as long as you keep it in mind. I will buy and use this powder again.

I bought this powder to cover my springfield 1911 my 38 and 357 mag. I wanted accuracy. My 1911 loves this stuff with 185’s to 230 grs. After weighing my brass and bullets and seperating them by weight I carefully weigh my loads and get very consistant velocities and under 1 1/2 inch groups at 60 feet. If I could shoot a little better I’m sure my groups would be half that. Clean and cycles great. Can’t complain at all. Very impressed!
